But…
When you go on myspace.com… honestly the only thing you see is advertisement… i have a personal myspace profile, and i see myspace as a good thing and a nice way to interact with people from all around the world..but how many times have you been on myspace and got something like “Error occured, please contact Myspace technical staff… bla bla bla”… come on, i see that all the time!! At first i was wondering if it was just me, but i made some research and i found out that it’s a common thing.. They get so much money from selling advertisement spots and their agreement with google ($900 Million), but still don’t seem to be able to fix those error messages and hire a new designer (i simply find the design plain ugly, but that’s my personal taste)… when is the last time you went on Google or Yahoo and got a message like “Sorry we are performing database maintenance, please come back later!”.. sorry that never happened to me! haha
Ok.. why not advertise a product or service on myspace for all the world to see?
Simple reason: there are other ways to advertise! And i personally never click on any banners on myspace.. a while ago, the advertisement on myspace was not THAT overwhelming, but now it seems that the “user’s experience” doesn’t matter anymore.
Ok enough rambling! That was my 2 cents! (i know it’s kinda cheap.. “2 cents”.. but eventually i’ll change that to “my 2 million dollars) :)
