Last week, the folks over at BlogCatalog had an idea, helping kids in schools! And they asked the bblogcatalog members to blog about the DonorsChoose Fundraising Event, many did! This posts is for them! Thanx a lot to all of you for taking the challenge and blogging about the fundraising event and help kids! It really was a fun experiment!
The goal was to raise $25,000.00, but even though a lot of people blogged about this, the total donation amount recieved after 1 week, was $1,140.00, which is not bad at all! Check out the DonorsChooose page. The benefits of this challenge for DonorsChoose was a HUGE traffic spike, and they will definitely benefit from the exposure even 6 months or maybe a year from now, even if we did not meet the $25K. I’m really proud and happy to have been a part of this challenge, and a huge thanx to Tony Berkman from BlogCatalog for his help and efforts in putting this all together, and also for getting this on PRWeb!! :)
So my way of thanking the people that joined in and blogged about this, is by sharing a little link love! Please take some time to visit their blogs, I know this is a long list, but many of those bloggers showed real creativity and invested a lot of time in this fundraising event! Big Thanx to all of them!
