Brad Shorr
Web content doesn’t always get the attention it deserves, and that’s good news for you. By getting the full potential out your business blog or website’s content, you will separate yourself from the pack and become smart, wealthy and rich. My mission is to help you succeed on all three levels, and that requires elevating content from an afterthought to a planned element in your web marketing strategy.
Smart
Search Optimized Content. When people are looking for something, their first stop is Google. Unless your web content is search engine friendly, few people will know you exist. Some content optimization techniques are surprisingly simple, and others are rather complex. I’ve taken clients from obscurity to page one of Google for highly competitive search terms. I will help you create and implement content strategies to boost your visibility on that all important source of opportunities.
Wealthy
Persuasive Sales Content. Once you’ve succeeded in getting people to your site, the challenge is to turn them into customers. Without relevant and compelling content, the task will be almost impossible. Whether you realize it or not, every page of your website or blog is selling on one level or another. How effectively they’re selling - that’s up to us. With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience at the management level and deep in the trenches, I will help you write content by putting you in your customers’ shoes. That’s how to give them the confidence they need to entrust you with their business.
Rich
Engaging Social Media Content. These days it’s not enough to offer outstanding products and services. People want to do business with people, not lifeless corporate entities. Trained in the “old school” but an active and successful blogger since 2005, I’ve learned it’s no simple matter to develop effective social media writing skills. I will help you make your business blog a community of conversation where indifferent visitors become interested, prospects become customers, and customers become evangelists. That, in my opinion, is what will make you truly rich.
After a successful career in the packaging industry, I started my own marketing firm in 2005, to help small and medium size companies put words into action on the web. Since then, I’ve worked with leading packaging firms including Sealed Air Corporation and Elkay Plastics Co., Inc. Entrepreneur clients include Bill Welter, author of The Prepared Mind of a Leader, and Kay Plantes, author of Beyond Price. My wife and I live near Chicago, Illinois (USA), and have three grown daughters. I’m a graduate of Northwestern University (B.S. in Communication Studies/minors in English and History) an avid reader, an occasional business humorist and cartoon writer, and along with countless others, a perpetually frustrated Chicago sports fan.
