Seriously, so far, the articles i’ve submitted really did help me getting more traffic to my blog (maybe you even found my site by clicking thru a link in one of my articles signature box). But not only submitting articles is a good thing for traffic and SEO (link popularity, and free traffic also), it’s also useful if you plan on eventually publishing a book or e-book and be recognised as an expert in your field, which is one of the main reason i write articles.
So as far as traffic goes, i’m not saying that the articles i have listed here and there bring me thousands and thousands of visitors everyday, but still it helps. If you’re thinking about writing articles or reviews, i suggest you simply do it! That’s the only way to go!
Write about something that interrests you (it can be about pretty much anything, you can also browse thru articles directories and find subjects that are of interest to you and write about that). Only advice is to never copy anyone’s material, doing that would get you blacklisted and you really don’t want that! I wouldn’t want to see my articles or reviews somewhere else without my links and signature box or author’s profile! So write something “new” about something you know, and share YOUR views and thoughts! :)

I’ll follow-up again eventually with more information as things are expanding and give more infos/tips/tricks/resources about writing articles.
