Will Cre8buzz Generate Buzz For You?

Hey, seems you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Cre8buzzYou may have heard about this new site, they were in private beta (invites only) and they just launched yesterday, it’s called Cre8buzz. I’ve been waiting for the launch since Antman told me about it, and finally they’re up and running, congrats to the team! (and thanks a lot to Ritu of Work N Play for the invite) :)

So What Is It Exactly?

Cre8buzz is basically a social networking/community site. You create a profile, add some details, a picture and voila! But the folks at Cre8buzz kinda pushed things a little further, and you can also add podcasts, blog posts, create a video gallery and customize the looks of your profile page. [Read more →]

Why So Much Buzz Around That?

There I was this morning, checking my e-mails, wanting to read what everyone had posted during the week-end. And to my surprise, everyone wrote about BlogRush. Well maybe not “everyone“, but of all the blogs I read, 27 wrote about BlogRush.

I signed up to BlogRush this week-end after reading about it on Zoomstart, it seemed interesting so I installed the thing, and now 3 days later, I realize that well… I haven’t received any traffic yet.

What Is It All About?

If haven’t heard about it yet (you haven’t????), BlogRush is a new traffic exchange service, created by John Reese who runs Income.com. John is like a super online marketer.

The idea is you sign up to BlogRush (which is free), install a widget on your blog, and then that widget will show links to relevant blogs. And your link appears on other blogs. Simply a traffic exchange service. The big difference I find is they’re “relevant” links, as opposed to many traffic exchange programs where you have no idea where the traffic comes from. Kinda like a blogroll exchange but you don’t necessarily know those blogger… humm… [Read more →]

I’m Not A Big Fan Of Blog/Product Reviews - Here’s An Alternative

You probably noticed that I rarely post product or blog reviews on my blog. I’m not a huge fan of ReviewMe, Sponsored Review, Pay Per Post and other similar services, they’re great, but not for me.

Reason is quite simple, I usually don’t read reviews posted on other blogs, so I don’t see why I should post any on here. I don’t feel it would be relevant, and I’m not sure it would be useful to my readers, unless some product or blog totally rocks.

I did write some reviews in the past, but quickly realized it wasn’t my thing. So I simply stopped. And I must say I’m happy I made that decision. [Read more →]

Pownce - Kinda Like Twitter But On Steroids

PownceYou probably already know who Kevin Rose is, he’s the founder of Digg, and he’s now working on a new project: Pownce. Scot Smith from Meridian Crest sent me an invite, cause right now Pownce is still in beta, and is “invite only”. Thanx Scot! :)

So now I can invite 6 people. If you’d like to try out this new service, please leave a comment below, and I’ll send you an invite. Then you can let me know what you think of Pownce. (I can only send 6 invites, first come, first served) [Read more →]

Brainstorming Is Useless If You Can’t See The Big Picture

What is it that successful bloggers know or do that other don’t? Seriously you can spend years in school, and learn everything you can about a particular topic, blog about it, and yet never achieve any form of success. What’s the difference between a successful entrepreneur/writer and one that struggles? It’s all in their ability to see the big picture. See things bigger than they are at the moment. See what’s coming, the next steps. See the future (but that would be pushing it) ;)

You can brainstorm for hours and still not find any “good enough” ideas. It surely happened to you before, you’re sitting in front of your computer, trying damn hard to find an idea for your next blog post, and an hour and a half later you realize you wrote only 2 lines. Then you decide not to save your file. Happens to me a lot. [Read more →]

The Fine Art Of Writing A Successful Ebook

Some of you may already know I love to read and learn new things, and although I really love to read “real” books, I also enjoy ebooks, and lately 2 bloggers writers/authors/entrepreneurs I know and respect very much, published their own ebooks, and I thought it would be a good idea to talk a little about those ebooks, and share my thoughts, and also ask you guyz and galz what you think of them, if you read them, and if you haven’t yet, well lemme ask you why? :)

(* bonus question at the end of the post!) [Read more →]

Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar Recap And Contest

This past week-end i was at the Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar, and now is the time for me to write a recap/review of it. And honestly, this is not an easy post to write. You’ll understand why in a minute.

Millionaire Mind Book Contest

Let’s start by annoucing the winner of the “Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind Book” contest, it ended this past Monday, on the 20th, and like i said in my Millionaire Mind Contest post, i would do a little video, and draw the winner. :) So here it is! [Read more →]

The StumbleUpon Effect - Definitely Worth It

I’ve been experimenting with StumbleUpon for about 3 or 4 days, since Shane from Zoomstart wrote a post about that. Honeslty, the results so far are amazing. I’ve used stumbleupon in the past, from time to time, but didn’t see the real potential till i started really paying attention to my stats and actively use the service.

So there i was with my $50, not sure if i wanted to actually spend money on traffic, since i think traffic can be “acquired” using so many other methods. But it proved to be a really good way to get exposure. So I funded my stumbleupon account with 50 bucks, and opened the traffic gates. For $50USD you get 1000 hits ($0.05 a click) so i thought it was a fair price since it’s somewhat targeted traffic. [Read more →]

TylerCruz Review - Successful Online Entrepreneur

Tyler asked me if i wanted to review his blog in exchange for a linkback. Well honestly at first i wasn’t sure, cause i’m getting a little tired of blog reviews (John Chow is already evil enough). But then i went and i checked out Tylers’ blog, read many posts, and i decided i would review it because I think many of my readers could benefit from reading TylerCruz.com! :)

His blog topics ranges from entrepreneurship to CPC advertising and internet marketing and domain names selling. His blog has a clean layout/design, and is fast loading.

Tyler is definitely a successfful entrepreneur (meaning: he’s making money online). He runs many site and built some really awesome ones in the past, like Movie-Vault, Publisher Spot and others (which are part of the Merendi Network).

Sponsored Review: Madison Who’s Who

Madison Who's WhoDisclosure: As many of you may already know, sponsoredreviews.com is a “get paid to review blogs and websites” service. They launched not so long ago. I’ve wrote about “paid reviews” (pros and cons) before on smartwealthyrich.com and here are the 2 reasons i am reviewing Madison Who’s Who on here:

First, i get paid for reviewing it (which is not why i accepted to review it, more to test the system and get the feel of how it works). Second, i think my readers could benefit from knowing about it! I’m not doing this to make quick cash, since it takes some time to actually go and visit the site, contact the administrators of the site, read more, do some research, then write the review.
