The “Simply Valid” WordPress Theme

Hey, seems you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Yes, my WordPress theme is now available!

It’s called “Simply Valid“, a huge thanks to Tobsy from BloggersJourney for coming up with this title. I think it fits really well :)

There are 2 versions to the Simply Valid theme, a light, white background version, and a darker one. Both CSS valid.

Of course the Simply Valid theme is widget ready. Also, I will post a list of the plugins I’ve tested and I know works with it. (soon) Check out the demo site: [Read more →]

First Attempt At Creating A WordPress Theme

WordPress theme

I’ve been working on that for a couple of days now, reading everything I could find about building a wordpress theme (I’m really used to customizing a theme, but building a new one is something I never really attempted before). So I finally decided to do it. The theme is not ready yet, it will be available real soon though. [Read more →]

WordPress Themes Revolution

Brian Gardner recently released a new wordpress theme called Revolution, which looks really really promising.

The reason I’m writing about this, is because it’s not a free wordpress theme (and no, this is not a sponsored review).

Many of you reading my blog are bloggers and web designers, so look at it this way:

You create wordpress themes, people download your themes for free, and since you put your link in the footer, you get tons of incoming links (kinda), but you make no money. So, of course, many bloggers are offering people to sponsor their themes. Which helps those designers make some money. Some agree with this, some don’t. [Read more →]

I’ll Keep This One For A While I Think

New Design - Smart Wealthy Rich

Since my first post on this blog, a lot of things have changed, especially when talking design, I’ve had 4 or 5 designs, but none of them I found were cool enough. So once again, back to the drawing board.

I have a feeling I will stick to that new design for a while :)
If you’re reading through RSS, please come have a look!

My last 2 designs were built on the Cutline theme (Chris Pearson), and the ones before that were based on the K2 theme. [Read more →]

Working With Not So Reliable Tools - I Want Better Communication!

Businessman - Unreliable ToolsThe tools you use that help you run your business, or in my case my blogs, can easily become a pain if you don’t chose carefully which tools you use. And I’m experiencing just that. Not that I chose unreliable tools, but let’s just say they’re not all up to my standards.

Reliable And Unreliable Blogging Tools

Of course, using wordpress as my blogging platform was an excellent choice, and I wouldn’t start a blog on any platform other than wordpress. With the hundreds (or thousands) of plugins available and the awesome support from the wordpress community, to me, it’s a no-brainer. [Read more →]

New Bling Bling… er… Design I Mean!

Well, as you can see I changed my blog design! If you’re reading my blog through RSS, please take some time to visit the site and check it out, and leave your comments, it’s always appreciated.

This new design is still based on the Cutline theme, but it’s a modified 3 columns version. I wanted something cleaner and with more whitespace, and I think it does the job just fine. I tested the new design in Safari, Firefox and Opera on Mac OSX 10.4.9 and with Browser Cam for Windows OS and browsers, cause I don’t have access to a PC, so it is expected that there will be some minor bugs, which will be fixed if you let me know! :) [Read more →]

New Wordpress Theme - Fastway: By Anthony Baggett

Anthony just released a new wordpress theme, Fastway. It’s crazy, Anthony released 4 new wordpress themes in what? 3 weeks? Good job buddy!

I will probably use Fastway on that new blog I’m working on. I wanted to use Cutline, since I’m a huge fan of that theme, and it’s easy to customize. SmartWealthyRich is built on Cutline. But seems I can’t get it to look exactly how I want, and the Fastway theme will definitely make things easier. [Read more →]
