Dale Carnegie Was A Real Genius!

That book is simply a must read! I read it, and it seriously changed the way i see personal relations, profesional relations, and i learned a lot on human behaviors! Dales’ book is “the grandfather of all people-skills books” as some like to say! I don’t often review books, i did it for Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind… and the only time i do this is..when i’m done reading a book and i wanna read it all again right away, right there! When i find a book that good! I just feel i have to share it! :)
How To Win Friends And Influence People (aff) was first published in 1937, and seriously it’s content and topics are still up to date, and can still be applied in todays’ everyday life! The priciples this book teaches can change the way you act and react towards people and how you handle certain situations!
Every single time i have a feeling or i know i’ll have to say something to someone, something that this person might not like, i just turn to this book! I read every chapter twice before going on to the next one, that’s what Dale Carnegie suggests in the very first pages of his book. And when you start reading it, you kinda understand why!
Here are the 3 most important points (based on amazon and other people’s reviews):
- The six ways to make people like you
- The twelve ways to win people to your way of thinking
- The nine ways to change people without arousing resentment
Apply the principles that Dale talks about in his book (i’m trying to do that as often as possible) and it can change most aspects of your life, instantly! Problem with your spouse? Check out chapter 2! Need that next big contract? Check out chapter 3! This book is filled with real-life examples, that’s probably why i enjoyed reading it so much!
Hope you’ll like it as much as i did! If you already read it (why not read it again?) please share your thoughts! What is it that you learned from this book that you think is worth sharing with others?

I actually read this book again a few weeks back. It’s definitely a timeless work and a must read for anyone dealing with……….people! I agree, he was a genius.
Hey Anthony, thanx for stopping by! :)
yeah, i wish i had read that book back when i was working in customer service a couple years ago, i was doing pretty good (though i didn’t like the “work on the phone” thing), i could have used a lot of the tips Dale Carnegie talks about in his book.
Nice to see you around Anthony! Keep up the great work with your blog! I’m a fan! Your design and topics rocks!
Everyone should read or listen to the audio of How to Win Friends and Influence People…truly one of the best books I’ve ever read. Great post. They have cheap copies on Amazon.
Jonathan,
Dale Carnegie has been my favorite author for years (can’t remember how long ago
when I first read his book). Some of his books, I’ve even read through 5 times !
I sell them from my Amazon site. I only use Adwords for that though I do include
some books at the top of my Home Page (hardly sell any).

hey Buddy, (I can permit myself this little acronyme since we’re real life friends)
Great book right there! I know you like that book cause I defenitly liked it; this is also why I recommended it to you haha! REally glad you enjoyed it and I see now but I am not impressed that a lot of people dig this novel. Filled with invaluable tips on how to deal with delicate situations and how to make people like you faster than you would even expect, this book should be in everyone’s library. Since everyone has to deal with people, why not get better a it?
keep up the good post Johnny boy!
