Do You Have A Millionaire Mind?

You know i like contests, and you probably know i like to get involved in charity events and stuff, and help others. One good way to help other people is by sharing knowledge (and always keep learning about new things) and inviting people to participate and get involved, so it’s kind of a win-win situation both for the giver and the reciever.

So here it is!

I wrote about the Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind Book and Seminar before, and like i mentionned in my previous post, i will be giving a copy of The Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind Book (no costs, free shipping). And i thought it would be interesting to do some sort of contest and invite people to participate. No special skills or anything required. Just some creativity and a couple minutes of your time! :)

How does it works?

Simply leave a comment on here or write a post on your blog or do a video, and tell us the reasons why you would like to be a millionaire. It’s really that simple!

You want more money so you can buy this new car? Pay off your debts? Help others? Donate to charity? Well, share your dreams with us and inspire others! And you could win a copy of the Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind book! Even if you don’t win, it’s still gonna be a fun experiment, and we can all benefit from participating!

I won’t choose the winner myself (everyone will have equal chance of winning), and won’t use technology to randomly choose a winner. I’ll do that the old-fashioned way instead! And use a hat to draw the winner! And the contest will run till the 20th of May or until i recieve 50 entries (whatever comes first).

One last thing! You absolutely don’t need to have a blog or website to participate, this is open to everyone, if you don’t have a blog, simply leave a comment on this post and tell us why you would like to be a millionaire, and i don’t mind long replies, it’s just more fun to read! Of course if you do have a blog or website, you will get a linkback from smartwealthyrich.com! ;)

So, let’s see who will be the first to participate!
Have fun, share your experiences, your dreams, and take care!

* UPDATE: contest ended on the 20th of May 2007, check out the post, and also my review of the Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar

  1. I would like to be a millionaire cause it would permit me to simply ‘be more of me’. I would give more to things that really matters to me like endangered species and nature protection. I would reequip myself with brand new Drum gear and get ready for a worldwide tour. I would wisely invest that money to make it grow and eventually live on the interests. Of course, that would be close to a best case scenario. Now it’s time to take actions and make that Million a more tangible reality!

  2. Hey Math, agree with you buddy! Being a millionaire can definitely allow one to “be more, do more”. So when are we going on tour man? I need a new guitar! :)

By the way, i’m not sure, but i guess you don’t need the book, since you’re the one who introduced me to T. Harv Eker, hehe ;)

  3. My goal is to achieve the financial independence that will allow me to do some of the things that I have always dreamed of doing. After working for the man for 24 years, I’d like to be the man, to have the challenge of my own business, to build something for my family. I’d also like to have the time to travel and see more of the world, as well as indulge some of my hobbies.

My blogs are just the start. The real trick is following up desire with ideas, and ideas with action. I’m on my way.

  4. Hi Ripley! First welcome to SmartWealthyRich! Please make yourself at home!

Having your own business and build something strong for your family are things we definitely have in common. Ah and travel around the world! :)

You’re entered in the contest! Good luck to you!

  5. One million isn’t a lot nowaday, but it’s enough to live a modest life. The reason why I want to become a millionaire is to free myself up to experience the world, spend quality time with friends and family, and start new hobbies. I guess I’m just an ordinary guy.

  6. Hello FinancialJungleGuy! Welcome to SWR! :)

I agree, one million is not “that” much, it depends what you do with it. I’m sure i could spend 1 million in 1 day. But i guess i’d be better off investing it and making it grow (tagline of my blog).

I believe a lot of people share those goals of travelling the world and spend quality time with friends and familly. In the end we probably all would like to have a little taste of the freedom money “provides”.

Good luck with the contest, and thanx a lot for participating!

  7. Awesome idea!

I want to a millionaire so I can have sweet cars, nice house, actually be able to pay off my school loan, invest and save so I can have the luxury of doing what I want when I want, and of course to be able to get fancy things for my girlfriend without feeling like I’ve spent my life savings on a gift.

    PS Being a student sucks.

  8. Hehe, yep being able to get fancy stuff for our girlfriend is definitely a good reason ;)

Good luck with the contest buddy!

  9. I’d like a nice country bungalow with a few guest bedrooms, an office and a fairly large garden where I could keep chickens.

In my copious spare time from not having a “real job” I want to raise awareness about Fibromyalgia (a terrible chronic pain condition) and teach kids maths. Kids these days have such terribly poor maths and science skills and not enough of them are getting interested in these essential subjects, I’d like to do my bit to reverse that.

Other than that I want to write and help people to change their lives, using NLP and hypnotherapy

I have a plan; give me the million :-D

  10. Hi Nathan! wow, those are really noble and charitable goals! Fibromyalgia is a terrible condition, it’s awesome you want to spread the word about it and make people aware of it. Teaching kids, that is great, i do give guitar lessons to kids and it’s really rewarding!

I wanted to write about Neuro-Linguistic Programming since some time now, i think your reply comes at the right time, i’ll definitely write about that soon :)

    Good luck with the contest!

  11. Thanks Jonathan :) I have a really nasty case of fibro so I want to get the word out wider, refute some of the junk some idiots spout. I’d love to teach kids maths because it would get me back to my roots (control engineering) without needing a fulltime job in the industry.

I’m just getting in to NLP, it’s quite amazing just how accurate the models of excellence are - a great tool to help us all achieve our best.

  12. So far what i’ve read about NLP is plain amazing. Makes me wanna know more, so i keep researching and reading about that (till i’m satisfied, them i’ll blog about it hehe)

CFS is, i’m sure, not something easy to “spread the word” about, but running and writing on a blog makes it easier to let people know about it, since there’s not “enough” people aware of this.

Good luck with everything! Keep in touch! :)

  13. I don’t want to be a millionaire, simply because I don’t see my life getting any better if I had two million dollars today. And yeah if I do reach there where I have a million, I will surely be doing a lot for the needy, probably start a home for the disabled and old. Even now I do contribute regularly to an institution who board the less fortunate and this gives me immense happiness and satisfaction, wish I could do more.

Money doesn’t always bring happiness, you can however use the money in a constructive way to generate happiness. There is no end to what one wants in life, cut them down to needs and use the rest for a worthy cause.

If I drive a Ferrari today and live in a plush bungalow and have all the top notch works in life, my farts arnt going to smell nicer…lol.

    Good post mate,

    Take care and cheers.

  14. Hey Robin! It’s true people don’t “need” that much money, i’m sure one can live a whole life on a quarter million bucks (provided he/she is a “saver”, more than a “spender”.). I find it really interesting that most people would use a (big) part of the money and donate to charity, help others, their family/friends.

Reading the replies/comments on this post put a huge smile on my face! :)

    Keep ‘em comming!

By the way Robin, good luck with the contest!

  16. Hey Anthony, thanx for sharing this on your blog, good luck with the contest! :)

  17. I want a million dollars because having a million will make it easier for me to make a million more.

Having a million would allow me to have the freedom to become the entrepreneur I wand to be. I can work full time on my entrepreneurial activities, get rid of my J-O-B, and start a new path of success.

Success build on success., and having a million bucks is a great way to start a success streak!

  18. Hey Troy, thanx a bunch for stoppping by and participating in the contest! You,re right, having a million bucks can help make millions more, and help even more people.

    Good luck with the contest.
By the way, welcome to SWR, make yourself at home!

By the way Troy, if you have a site or blog you can link to it when you reply to a post, i don’t mind sharing the link love :) (also if you’re the winner, you’d have to drop me a e-mail with your infos, coz i don’t have a way to contact you) Thanx

  19. I want a million dollars so that I could lay around all day watching TV while a curvy young thing would feed me beer and chips.

Now… wait a minute, before you start screaming, “What a big fat slob!”

Shallow as it may seem, what I described stands for something more.

If I’m able to do that, it’d mean I have security - that I don’t have worry about where my next meal is coming from.

That security is what will give me the freedom to what I always wanted to do, but could never do because I have always been shackled to my work desk.

That security which which will let let live every moment of life, which is possible only and only if I don’t have to pretend something I’m not.

That security which will comfort me in thought that I can afford the best medical care possible, should there be a need.

Plus, of course, I’ll be able to afford the Playboy Pay Channel …

  20. Hey Zakman! haha, the playboy channel! Yeah why not? :)

Security is definitely important, i myself don’t want to feel secure at all, well i like the security of feeling insecure.

Medical care is also a really good point mate. Here in canada it’s not real hard to get medical care (though people here complain a lot about the health care system and how it works, i’m aware it’s better than other countries, so i don’t complain) but it sure can get expensive, so having the money can help.

Good luck with the contest buddy! :)

  28. The reasons I would like to be a millionaire? First, I would sleep in. Then I would write out the list of to do’s that have been planned for the day when I have a million dollars.

  31. Millionaire? Multi-millionaire would be better. Much better. A dollar’s not worth what it used to be. If I’m going to retire while I’m still young I’m going to need multiple millions.

  32. Hey Mark! Love the positive attitude! Good luck with the contest! :)

  34. Thanks for the opportunity, I would like to be a millionaire to invest in starting a company im passionate to work at and have my family and friends all participate. A person needs money to make money. A million dallars would allow me to pay off old depts and to invest. Spent properly . A large part of success is peoples background. Worked 3 job, school and helped there dying aunt. Invested their hard earned $$ and knows what its like to be poor, lives like they are poor. Their money grows…. or your parents in whatever way gave you an opportunity… whatever. I just don’t know how a millionaire thinks. With that knowledge their will be one lucky ( hopefully average) person out there. The law of attraction says its me.

  35. Hello Dennise, thank you very very much for writing, appreciate it a lot! I think you really grasped what having a “millionaire mind” is about! ;)

Unfortunately the contest ended on May 20th… But no worries, I’ll definitely hold another contest real soon!

  36. I would love to be a millionare so that I can share my wealth with others.
My site Global Surveyors is aimed at Surveyors, Engineers, Builders and Spatial Professionals.
I aim to help build wealth amoung my fellow peers by uniting and promoting them within my website.
I aim to have many members whom will benefit from my site.
My millionare mind set starts by looking forward and helping others achieve final freedom.

  37. Hi Scott, I love the way you put it - “helping others achieve final freedom

Thanx a lot for replying! Unfortunately the contest is over since May 20.

You already have a millionaiire mind anyway ;)

  38. I want to get my financial indpendence.
I want to get more free time to do other things rather than working 9-5.
I want money to work for me.

  39. After working for the man for 24 years, I’d like to be the man, to have the challenge of my own business, to build something for my family. I’d also like to have the time to travel and see more of the world, as well as indulge some of my hobbies.
