DonorsChoose.org - BlogCatalog Raises The Bar With “Bloggers Making History”

Talk about a nice idea! The folks over at BlogCatalog got this idea of holding a fund-raising/charity bloggy event, DonorsChoose, a non-profit organization that specializes in charity and fund raising for students and schools is the organization that will manage the donations.

DonorsChoose is a simple way to provide students in need with resources that our public schools often lack. - DonorsChoose.org

So far, at the time of writing this, already $175.00 has been donated. But Tony from BlogCatalog wants to raise the bar a little… the goal is $25,000.00USD!! Please take some time to read this post on the BlogCatalog Discussion Forum, and if you feel this is a worthy cause, hit that “donate” button, and feel the power of giving back! :)

And why not make this a fun experiment and help others at the same time! Here’s what i have to offer, some kind of incentive: If you donate $5.00 or more I’ll link to your blog or website! (here are my blog stats from my “advertise” page, in case you wanna have a look) How cool is that?

Not only that, but if you run a blog and write about this, i will also link to your blog! Now that’s cool! Isn’t it?

Please leave a comment on this post or on the blogcatalog forum, or send me an e-mail to let me know about it or if you have questions.
