Millionaire Mind Intensive Recap
Ok, so now, on to the Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar recap! First i have to say that i enjoyed reading the book a lot! Thing is i didn’t enjoy the seminar as much as i enjoyed the book. Many reasons for that, but also learned many great things.
The Speakers and Presenters
There were 2 speakers, Robert Riopel and Seymour Segnit. Robert was the “main” guy, and was the one that did most of the talking and i have to say, he’s great. There was around 1200 people attending the seminar, and Robert knew how to keep the energy level high and make people participate, so from that point of view, Robert did a great job! Seymour is also an excellent speaker, but maybe because of a lack of experience (compared to Robert) the energy wasn’t as high when it was him speaking. But, anyway, i think they both did a great job, and kept people entertained and wanting to learn.
Sales Pitches - Long Days
I think one of the reasons (among others) why i didn’t enjoy the seminar as much as i expected, is because of the sales pitches. At some point during the seminar, Seymour said “can you give me 3-4 minutes so i can talk to you about this program?”, and of course, everyone, being nice and “into it”, said “yes”… and about an hour later, Seymour was still talking about this program and giving his sales pitch. At that point, i just had to leave.. simple as that, i left and went outside. Couldn’t take it. That kinda crossed the line between “honest and sincere” and “trick me into listening to you”. Maybe it’s because i wasn’t able to relate to that particular program, and my lack of interest made me leave, but still, when someone says 3-4 minutes and it ends up being a whole hour…
If they had cut down on the time spent pitching their other products, the days would have been something like 8-9 hours instead of 12-14 hours. But still, they did a great job at marketing their other programs, from a marketing and selling point of view, they’re good. I would even say they mastered the art of “planting the seeds”, so that people can relate to what they’re talking about (cause the seed was planted a couple hours before), which is something commonly used in marketing/sales.
I’m driven, passionate and motivated
One thing that i realized attending that seminar, was that i am highly motivated, driven and passionate! How cool is that? At some point during the second day of the seminar, Robert talked about motivation and how it’s important to “do it” and that it’s not enough to just “be aware”. He talked about the fact that he’s a “whatever it takes” kinda person. And that made me realize that.. well.. i’m already motivated and driven! Which is a good thing!
The “financial blueprint”
This seminar is about changing your thoughts towards money to be able to achieve financial freedom, and how we all have old beliefs that are restraining us from achieving our goals, and that it’s possible to change our “financial blueprint” and achieve higher levels of success. Honestly, i think it’s brillant!
How can you expect to be a millionaire or financially free, if you have anger or resentment towards millionaires. Why would you wanna become something you hate. (i’m paraphrasing T. Harv Eker here)
I think, T. Harv really hit the jackpot, and he’s totally right (in my opinion), it all start with our thoughts, no matter what we do, no matter what we want, if we’re still (subconciously) stuck in old beliefs, how can we expect to get to where we want? This is based around the idea that if you keep doing exactly what you are doing right now, in a said number of years, you’re still gonne be at the exact same place. Your ways got you where you are now, to reach financial freedom, you have to change those ways.
Expectations and Delivery
I can say i learned a lot going to this seminar, but on the other hand i have to say it wasn’t exactly what i expected. I was expecting a lot more content and rational stuff, instead of the numerous sales pitches and “change your way of thinking” kinda things (even though i read the book and it talks a lot about that). Maybe if i went there not expecting anything i would’ve loved it and would’ve “got in the mood”, but unfortunately it’s not what happened, my expectations were way up high! They delivered, but they didn’t deliver what i was expecting. (*note to self: next time, don’t expect something in particular, just go and enjoy)
If you’re considering attending
If you’re thinking of attending the Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar, make sure you go to the Millionaire Mind Evening (3-4 hours) to first get the feel of what the 3 days seminar is like. It’s not a prerequisite, but it’s my suggestion (like T. Harv says in his book and seminars “doesn’t make it true, doesn’t make it false, makes it my experience“, so that is my suggestion). Make sure, if you register, that you have absolutely nothing else that week-end, you don’t wanna get distracted or anything. And last thing, play the game to the fullest, or else don’t attend. The heat is pretty high sometimes during the week-end, and you wanna make sure you can stand that heat.
All and all, it was a good experience, even though i was expecting something different, i’m happy i attended!
what about you?
Now, i’d like to ask you, have you ever attended that kind of seminar? What are your thoughts towards that? What seminar did you attend? It’d be really interesting to know what you folks think, did you like the experience, or if not, why is that?
Take care :)

I have to say, when it comes to seminars I am kind of a cynic. As an MBA I have heard plenty of presentations on everything from leadership to presentation skills to world domination. I already know myself well and what I am capable of. I think networking is best done at the beach or a bar. I am distrustful of seminars and people presenting their answers… especially when a product is attached. I don’t mean to be dismissive… I guess it all depends on what/who and one’s motivations for going.
Note: I know nothing about this particular event.
Hi Goldy, I think it really really depends on what the reasons for attending are. If, when you attend, you have a feeling it won’t do you any good, maybe it’s best not to go, or if you go anyway you might find it really interesting. Can’t really know till you try. I’m not suggesting you attend each and every single seminar there is, but if one seems interesting, go for it. I totally agree with you when you say “it all depends on what/who and one’s motivations for going”. On the other hand, i don’t think business networking is best done at the bar, but it depends i guess :)
What about the beach? :)
p.s. I absolutely love and admire your energy.
Hehe, the beach? umm, well i’d say it’s fine to network at the beach, but i wouldn’t expect to find a business partner there. It depends what you’re looking for, when i go to the beach it’s not exactly to find a business partner, but never know, might end up finding “someone” :P
I am being a little facetious when I mention the beach and the bar but I mean it when I say that the best contacts don’t usually come from places where everyone is there to find them. The best kind of networking comes though friends and friends of friends, social clubs and social circles where the contacts you need mingle.
Just my 2 cents John. Personally I’d bet on you making your millions.
I totally agree with that, metting people, networking and getting “contracts” or opportunities can be done in almost any place, and social circles and friends are usually a good starting point when “looking”. i got many contracts throught friends and friends of friends.
Looking at it from a different angle now, i’d agree with you, the beach is in fact an excellent place to network! hehe
Seminars are also great for that, just gotta bring business cards and a smile. I got a lot of business cards at SOBCon07.
(*note to self: get those business cards printed!)
;)
Jonathan,
Thanks for the contest, and it’s nice to win something. I know what you mean about seminars. I haven’t been to a lot of them, but it seems that most are a mix of content and sales. You pay for the content, but you get the opportunity to buy the “package for those serious” about the program.
Anyway, I try not to get to cynical about it. If the content is good enough, it’s worth sitting through the sales presentation.
Hey Anthony! Congrats! I got your e-mail, so i’ll send you the book by the end of the week.
Honestly i haven’t been to a lot of seminars either, but if you stay for the sales presentations, you might find something of interest, something that relates to what you’re looking for. A friend of mine who was at the Millionaire Mind seminar last week-end registered for a second seminar/training camp while he was there, and i think that’s great, it looks really interesting, maybe i would’ve done the same, but i couldn’t stand being in the conference room during that sales pitch.
Don’t get me wrong i learned a lot of thing during the seminar, but the sales pitches combined to the fact that i wasn’t able to relate totally to some of the content made my brain leave the room even before i physically left.
Hope you’ll enjoy the book! It’s a good read! :)
Hey Jon,
Sounds like you got some value out of the seminar regardless of all the pitches.
We’ll all have to pay close attention to Anthony’s blog and see what comes out this freshly minted millionaire mind :)
Shane, yeah we’ll have to watch Anthony’s blog, cause he’ll be making millions soon! :)
Yep, got a lot of value out of the seminar, and actually met some really nice and friendly people, which is always cool! :) (they had no idea what a blog was though, but i tried my best to explain it to them hehe)
Even if I don’t make millions, I should adapt the mind for it……….maybe the book should have been titled “Secrets of the Millionaire Bank Account”.

Hehe, Secrets of the millionaire bank account, that sounds good! Just need that Millionaire mind so that this bank account stays in the 6 figures :)

Hey all……
I have been to a ton of seminars. I Used to work for several of them out there. GOTO this one trust me it is unlike anyother seminar company out there. On that note goto an apex millionaire blueprint seminar. The crowds are between 100 and 200 people and more personal. www.millionaireblueprint.com its the same seminar for a smaller crowd.
Hi Jon! Thanx for replying!
Yeah, Peak Potentials offers so many different seminars. My best friend attended the “Train The Trainer” seminar recently and from what he told me, it was amazing!
You used to work for what seminar by the way? Was it for Peak Potentials?
No I have never worked with Peak Potentials But I do work with some people that have worked for them. Thats all I really can say about my position lol. Apex Is a new branch of Peak Potentials That go to the citys that Peaks does not. Example Oklahoma City, Hartford, Vegas….. Another Company that goes along with Peaks/apex is a company out of utah that i used to volenteer for called Impact Trainings…. This is the most intensive training i Personally have ever been to though they do not travel. they are strictly a training not a seminar. impacttrainings.com
I love these type of companys. To watch the shift in people from day one to the last day is well worth the service.
Apex, I will have to look into that, sounds interesting ;)
It is indeed amazing to see the reactions and the shift in people even after a couple of hours there.
Hello,
I enjoyed your review of the seminar.
I had a similar experience. Too much
of a sales pitch.
The techniques to change beliefs and
implant new ones do not get a high
score with me.
Actually, I found them very ineffective.
After attending to that seminar, someone
directed me to a relatively new web site.
I bought their material. I believe to be
the most complete Mind Reprogramming
Course I ever encounttered.
Honestly, I never saw a better material anywhere.
My life is being changed in a way that no other
seminar has done. And I attended
too many in a constant search for the GOLDEN key
that would unlock my true potential.
It makes me understand in great detail everything
Harv Eker’s people talk about in their seminar.
My suggestion is that you check it out for your own sake.
The URL is http://www.makemoneyfastgetrichbeamillionaire.com
Please, keep informing us of all these new seminars. It will save
me and many others lots of money and energy.
I really appreciate your work.
Jack.
Hi Jack, thank you very much for your kind words!
Regarding that program (the link), honestly, as good as it sounds, I really cannot read that whole page. too much information, they could probably benefit from a redesign. But still I will have a look at it.
I think the Millionaire Mind seminar is really good, and they offer a lot, and I found the information really interesting. But the sales pitches kinda killed it for me.
I will maybe, one day, attend again, but at least that time I’ll know what to expect and will attend only if in the right mindset.
Thanx for stopping by Jack! :)
