PageRank Update

Seems SmartWealthyRich will have a PageRank 4!
I found this post today that Nate Whitehill wrote, regarding Googles’ PageRank update. There’s this nice tool you can use to see what your Page Rank will be when Big Brother will be done updating all its datacenters :)

So what will your new Page Rank be? :)

  1. Mine is showing as either 4 or 0 at all the data centres listed. Does that mean mine will be 4? Oh my brain hurts, too many numbers to think about

  2. That would probably mean a PR4, they’re updating their datacenters, so some may still show PR0, but if there’s a couple DCs showing PR4, you’ll most likely have an “overall” page rank of 4, congrats :)

  3. wow, you page rank already shows 4, when I open your homepage mate. Congratulations mate.

    Cheers and take care bro.

  4. Thanx a lot Robin! :)
Well FortuneWatch.com will get a PR3 it seems! Congrats!

  5. Welcome to Club 4 Jon!

  6. Thanks for the mention, Jonathan! Congrats on your PR!

  7. I think I’m gonna cry. According to this I will get a PR1.
And I thought I was doing so well…

  8. Yup, my blog seems to have been awarded with a PR of 4 which I am happy about as my blog is less than two months old.

We should all keep this in perspective though - just because Google likes/dislikes what you are doing, doesn’t mean your users agree.

Your users are the most important determinant of your site’s success. Ensure you please them before you consider pleasing the search engines.

  9. Shane, congrats on the PR4 :)

  10. Hi Nate, you’re welcome, thanx a lot!

  11. Hey Bob, well a PR1 is already better than no PR at all, wait another 3-4 months and you’ll surely get a better rank, jut keep it up ! :)

  12. Martin, good point, i totally agree with you, it’s not what google is saying that’s important, i’s what the user/readers/visitors are saying! :)

  13. I ran that thingy and it shows a bunch at for me at 3 and a bunch at 4. I bet when it gets done, I’ll be back down to a 2!

  14. Hey RT, well most likely you’ll get a PR4, you had a PR3 before, worst case you stay at PR3, which is good anyway :)

  15. Bravo! Someday I will be like you!

  16. Hey Court! hehe i wouldn’t want anyone to actually be “like me” :)

    Congrats on your PR3 man!

  17. […] your pagerank updates across all of Google’s datacenters. I found another one last night via SmartWealthyRich when Jonathan-C. Phillips pointed the way via Nate Whitehill dot Com. No, I won’t make you go […]

  18. Hi Jon,

Wow! Congrats! PR of 4 within a few months is quite a feat!

Well done indeed! You have done pretty well in linking around, creating good content and promoting interaction. I’m not surprised.

For myself, I just moved the domain name, and I expect this to have an adverse effect on my future PR. Just gotta hope and pray.

    Cheers,
    Jag

  19. Hey Jag, thanx a lot! ;)
I checked your site and it’ll probably get a PR0 this time, but i’m sure next update you’ll get a PR4 or something between 3 and 5, changing domain names sure had an effect on that, but doesn’t matter that much, Page Rank is just “one more thing” hehe

  20. […] interactivity with my readers than what Google “may” think of my blog.Still the last Page Rank update shows a nice PR4 for my […]

  21. Hi, Hows everyone managed to get PR4’s?? I’m a PR0 :( but then again my site was only indexed on April 7…

When dyu think the next update will be? And how many backlinks make a PR4? :)

  22. Hi Steve, thanx for stopping by SWR, please make yourself at home! :)

Honestly i don’t know how many backlinks it would take to get a PR4, next update should be in approximately 3 months from now (something like that). I think optimizing the pages, and actively promoting a site will help to get a nice PR, i’m no SEO expert, far from that, but sure backlinks and popularity helps a lot. Good luck Steve! :)
