Rediscover Communication

We are often afraid of saying what is really on our mind, and that is normal i think! Fear is one of the strongest human emotion, and it can make you act kinda weird sometimes! But once you get passed that fear, everything seems so simple!
If you speak your mind and the other person reacts in a bad way, or is mad at you for some reason, that probably won’t change anything to you, but what if that happens repeatedly? Gotta make sure you don’t hurt the other persons feelings and everything should be fine! Usually if you’re honest, people will thank you for it!
Imagine if someone asks for your opinion on something, and you think it’s crap… don’t say you like it! Maybe it’s just a test to see if you’re honest and worthy! Try giving good points and bad points!
Being a good conversationalist and having good communication skills is important, wether in business, in relationships or in whatever else in your life! Try to put yourself in the place of the other person, understand their reality and how they see things, and it will most certainly lead to better communication, and then better business and better relationships! And overall better understanding of things! It can be hard sometimes to put yourself in the other persons’ shoes, but if you can do it without letting your own feelings interfere with that, you’ll definatly win more than you could loose not trying to do it!
To be able to get the best out of a conversation and improve your communication skills, here’s a brief list of the thing you might want to keep in mind:
I think we could all benefit from better communication skills, so any input on that is welcome of course! Please share your thoughts and your ways of doing things! It could benefit all of us!
We’re living in a fast-paced world, where we have all the tools we could ever need to help us communicate more efficiently, but still we seem to suffer from poor communication. If more people were good conversationalists and had good communication skills, there would probably be less divorces, more successful businesses and happier customers.
My share of the day! :)
