Showing Appreciation!

I wrote about Liz before, and you can be sure i’ll mention her every time i can! She’s the one who helped me understand blogging, and helped me tweak my site! That’s something!

So here’s what my blog looked like before! That was something like a month ago, before i met Liz:
And now take a look at my blog, the way it is now! It looks and feels way better! There still room for improvement of course (just as with anything!), but my blog wouldn’t be the way it is if i haven’t met Liz! (thanx to mybloglog). Right now i’m working on a little redesign using the cutline theme instead of K2, and every single time i change, tweak or modify something, i cannot do it without thinking: “Liz told me this, yeah i should do that this way, it would look and feel so much better” or “mm, Liz told me that, she was right, i look at it, and it would be better to have this there” and so on… :)
So bottom line is: when someone helps you out with something, when someone says something nice to you, show that person appreciation, tell that person you appreciate it, and be honest about it! First it feels good to do so, and it’s as much rewarding for the person who gives appreciation as to the person who recieves it!
To be able to be a good “reciever” you have to learn to be a good “giver”!
So from now on, you know what i think i’ll do?
I will show my appreciation more! And i will do this by featuring a site and a blogger every single week (not blog reviews, but blog and blogger appreciation!), a blog that first moves me, and that i appreciate, and that helps me in my blogging or in my personal or profesionnal life!
When you blog, you interact with and meet so many nice people, that i sure won’t run out of site to show apppreciation for!

Before putting up my new design i will need your thoughts on it! It’s not close to being finished, but i take everything you told me into account, so of course i will need your opinion! :)
