Widen Your Blog for Goodness Sake: I can definitely agree with Ryan on this one! A lot of people will say it’s better to keep a width of around 800px, but more and more people have a screen resolution of 1024×768, so widening your blog layout, to say 960-980px is not a crime anymore. :) This is a post that received quite a good number of comments, which are also worth reading.
How to be a Rock Star in Your Niche: Brian from Copyblogger always comes up with rocking ideas, and this post really is a gem. Being recognized as an expert in a particular field is what most bloggers want. We want our name to come up in discussions as often as possible. Go read this post, and check out this new blog, run by Neil Patel (Pronet Advertising) called Quick Sprout.
Champions Never Quit, Never Surrender: This is a brilliant post by Daniel over at Idea Seller. What is it that makes a successful entrepreneur? A champion? The ability to go all the way, never give up, and be strong enough to achieve success. “winners never quit, quitters never win“. Really thought provoking post, well done Dan!
Putting your blog under construction, for everyone but you: This nice little plugin allows you to work on your blog while your visitors see a “under construction” page. Extremely useful if you need an hour or so to test a new layout or make some changes to your blog layout. A great find!

Thanks for citing and recommending my article here Jonathan. I appreciate your comments too! I have this “anchor” image in my head that I always recall at even the slightest hint of discouragement: It’s Tim Allen in his Galaxy Quest uniforn proclaiming “Never Quit. Never Surrender!”
Hi Daniel, you’re very welcome, I really liked your post!
hehe, I didn’t even know about Galaxy Quest until I read about it on Wikipedia :)
Hey Jonathan, thanks for linking back to my post. I appreciate it. And I’m glad you enjoyed reading it.
Neat blog here, too. I’ll be subscribing :)
I read Court Tuttle’s review of Blogging Tips and he pretty much had only good things to say. When it comes to getting reviews you probably can’ t go wrong when you get them from the right people and present them good material.
Hi Cade, you’re absolutely right, doing business wwith sites in a related niche and presenting them something good to review is the way to go :)
The article on CopyBlogger is rather interesting.
Hi Ryan, you’re welcome! Really good discussion going on on this post too :)
Scot, what can I say, it’s Copyblogger :)
CourtneyTuttle.com is my personal favorite. I read it everyday. I beleive he has excellent insight on blogging and help tips. I will have to check out the blog under construction plugin, as I update the layout often.
Cool list of worth reading blog. Great!
Hi Michael, I agree, Court’s blog is awesome! Really good infos on SEO and blog monetization. I read it many times a week :)
I haven’t tried the under construction plugin yet, but when I read about it I thought it was just brilliant. I switched to this new design just recently, and did all the testing/tweaking on my test site, but with that plugin it would’ve made things a lot easier. Will definitely try it soon.
Terence, thanx a lot, I really found those posts interesting, happy you like them too :)
