Sometimes I Think Way Too Much

Rodin - ThinkingIn my quest for wealth (i love the sound of that! hehe), i’m always trying to find ways to attract more into my life, be it by acquiring something, or working on something that would lead to more financial independence, thus giving me the ability to create more wealth (read my post about wealth here) and help others.

Ok now, all this requires a lot of thinking (how, where, when, what, who?)… and sometimes i find myself stuck in those thoughts, too much thinking, too much input, too much output… i’m improving, but sometimes i feel i’m not doing enough, or maybe it’s that there’s sooo much i want to do!

Is there a sure way to avoid being stucked like that? Wanting to do a thousand things, knowing that those things will lead to more money, more wealth, and all… and not being able to do all of them in a said timeframe?

I really think i work a lot of my stuff (and i also think about my work a lot!), but still finds that i haven’t done all i wanted to do at the end of the day, but in fact i do a lot more than i could! I could simply sit at a desk for 8 hours per day, and wait for the day to be over, and then go home, and wait for that paycheck… but i’ve been there, and decided i wanted to do things on my own instead…

Now working from home, on many many things at the same time (blog, mlm, writing, music, job, etc…) is sure fun! Hey i’m my own boss! And i love it! But i usually try to “boss” myself, so i get work done!

But since there only 24 hours in a day, i often end up saying to myself “mm… i still have this and that to do, and.. when is the next time i can work on this.. tomorrow? nah.. the day after, ah ok maybe“.

I’m not procrastinating (Read Bryans’ post about procrastination here)! I rarely take time off (except when going to the studio for recording, which i enjoy a lot! It feels like time off, cause creativity is set free!), but how can one get more job done in a day? I need tips and tricks here!! I wrote a post about time management a couple days ago, but i think i need some more feedback on that! Not that i have problems managing my time, but it’s always helpful to know what other people think! (yeah.. thinking takes a lot of my time!) :)

You know what i think i’ll do? I’ll try to think less and act more.. and see how it goes! I love to think, make sure everything is cool, think of new ways to do this and that, but in the end, actions speaks louder than words!

What about you? Do you tend to think too much about the things you do, the stuff you work on? Do you plan in advance? Schedule things? Do you often work on something, get it done, and then come back and think about it, and go “mm.. that i should change, and this i don’t like…“?

Was my thoughts for the day (think, think, think!)
Take care!

  1. Yeeeeaaaah. My girlfriend would agree with you 100% on this because I “think too much” as well. Sometimes mulling over things isn’t good. The past is over..

Thinking about the future is also not always a good thing..

“The ability to to be content without knowing what’s ahead is essential for entrepreneurs.”

[…] “You never work for somebody else.”  Do more than you’re paid for, and eventually you’ll be paid for what you do.  Show up early and you’ll be praised for being entusiastic and eager to do your job.  Stay late and you’ll be questioned about why you couldn’t get the job done on time.  Don’t think too much, just do it. 3. […] Smart Wealthy Rich -  Jonathan have been thinking too much lately. What else if not about his quest for wealth (i love the sound of that! hehe). Well, nothing wrong with that actually. No crime committed if you’re always trying to find ways to attract more into your life, be it by acquiring something, or working on something that would lead to more financial independence, thus giving you the ability to create more wealth. So if you find yourself thinking too much then read Jonathan post about wealth here. […]
