Update - RSS Feed Readers

First i’d like to thank all of you who read my blog through RSS! It’s awesome! One thing though, when you run a blog, wordpress provides you with a default RSS link which usually looks like this:
http://smartwealthyrich.com/feed/
And since some time i’m running my RSS Feed with Feedburner, and the URL looks like this:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/smartwealthyrich
To keep on improving my blog and keep on tweaking stuff, it’s always a good idea to keep track of statistics. Unfortunatly wordpress doesn’t keep track of the number of RSS subscribers, but Feedburner does.
So i installed a nice little plugin called “Feedburner Feed Replacement“, that fowards the default yourdomain.com/feed/ to your feedburner URL. So this way it’ll be easier to keep track of the number of people that reads my blog through RSS. And it’ll be easier for me to make changes to my site that you, the end users, will benefit! :)
If you are using the default Feed URL, please update your feed reader with the new one (you can click on the orange “subscribe” button on the right-sidebar), grab the new feed url and add it to your feed reader. It is very possible that your feed reader will foward to feedburner automatically, but just in case, it take seconds to do this, and it will ensure you’ll always be up to date! :)
Of course you can also subscribe by e-mail, simply enter your e-mail in the “Recieve updates in your e-mail” field in the right-sidebar hit “subscribe” and follow the instructions. It’s that simple!
Thanx a lot!

Jonathan,
I’ve been using the Feedburner plug-in for months, and it totally rocks. There are SO many things that Feedburner lets you do with your feed. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to cruise through and check out their options.
I use another plug-in called Sig2Feed that lets me put an HTML footer at the end of all of my blog posts that are seen in RSS readers. It only holds HTML, so you can’t put any rotating ads in there, but you can hard code whatever you want. I use it to highlight my site, promote one of my sponsors, and also to include the ReviewMyPost link. Here is the URL if you want to check it out:

Hi Aaron, thanx a bunch, that is exactly what I was looking for. :)
I like feedburner since it’s really easy to setup and use :)
Hello Cindy! Welcome to SWR, please make yourself at home! :)
Feedburner is indeed easy to setup and the stats are pretty userful too.
